What's happening Sheboygan County? Time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus, your local realtor in Sheboygan Falls and this is your seven day housing update.
We saw 35 new listings hit the market, 18 properties sold and 22 properties did price adjustment. The spring market continues to turn out more listings than we seen in a long while. When you add that to the past three or four weeks, we're starting to see the total months of inventory creep up.
For the moment, it's much needed relief to add back some flexibility into our market if you're considering selling. The larger supply of new listings isn't putting any sort of downward trend on prices yet. Last month's supply was only 1.34 months. And anything under six months is considered a seller's market.
If you're a buyer, the past few weeks should be bringing you a little bit of hope. We're seeing meeting home prices rise, but the good news is the increase in listings over the past month are giving you some more choices. I'd still be prepared to compete in multiple offer situations. Instead of 10 other offers, it might be down to 8 until next week.
