Sheboygan County Market Update - 6/26/24

It's time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus, your local realtor right here in Sheboygan Falls and this is your seven day housing update for Sheboygan County.

We saw 34 new listings hit the market, 24 properties sold and one property ended up coming back to the market after it failed to sell. As we start the summer market, the trend of net positive listings over sales for 14 straight weeks, which is slowly chipping away at the housing shortage in our area. We have gone from almost no inventory countywide to a few more than before. Last week I ran the May final. Numbers and months of inventory was still under two.

If you're considering selling, the larger supply of new listings isn't putting any sort of downward trend on prices quite yet.

If you're a buyer, the past 14 weeks should be bringing you a little bit of hope. It's still a very competitive market. We're still seeing median home prices rise. The good news is the increase in new listings over the past few months are giving you a little bit more choice and still be prepared to compete in multiple offer situations.

I'm Markus Savaglio with EXP Realty and this has been your weekly market update.
