Sheboygan County Market Update - 7/3/24

It's time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus, your local realtor right here in Sheboygan Falls, and this is your seven day housing update for Sheboygan County.

We saw a total of 33 new listings hit the market, 32 properties sold, and one property ended up coming back to the market after it failed to sell. Sheboygan continues the trend of net positive listings over sales for 15 straight weeks, which is slowly chipping away at the housing shortage in the area.

If you're considering selling, the larger supply of new listings isn't putting any sort of downward trend on prices yet. But priced homes have been sitting much longer in the market, so it's important to price your home right the first time.

If you're a buyer, the past 15 weeks should be bringing you a little bit of hope. It's still a very competitive market. We are seeing median home prices continue to rise, but the good news is the increase in new listings over the past two months are giving you a little bit more choice.

Let me know what you think in the comments below. And until next week, I'm Markus Savaglio and this has been your weekly market update.
