Hey Sheboygan County, it's time for your weekly real estate update. I'm your local realtor, Markus with Savaglio & Co. And this is what's been happening over the past seven days right here in Sheboygan County.
Last week, we saw 11 new listings, 15 homes sold, 1 property came off the market without a sale and 1 property did a price reduction. But you're probably thinking, what do all these numbers really mean?
If you're a buyer in this market, the numbers are not on your side. This is another week in a very long string of weeks where there's been more home sold than new listings added to the available inventory. That doesn't mean you can't get a house though. The competition is tough, but if you have the right agent, they're going to help you get a property under contract by getting your offer to the top of the pile.
If you're selling a home, the market remains strong and in your favor. You're able to dictate better terms, better pricing and to control the process more than ever before. Anecdotally, we've been seeing properties getting accepted offers from 1% under their purchase price to about 3% over the purchase price in the past week.
