Sheboygan County Market Update - 8/14/24

Hey, Sheboygan County, it's time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus, your local realtor, and this is what's been happening over the past seven days.

35 new properties came to the market, 16 properties sold, 2 properties came back to the market after they failed to sell, and 16 homes did price reductions. This week's sold numbers are down as an echo effect from the 4th of July. New listings are remaining consistent from the past couple of weeks, and I think the people who are listing right now are the ones that wanted to enjoy the summer and now are looking to get their house under contract before school starts.

If you're buying in that's market, make sure you put your best offer out the first time and if you're looking for a deal, take a look at those price drops.

If you're selling in this market, it's a really good time to be a seller. You can dictate the process a little bit more and command a premium for your home. But it's important that you don't push too hard on price because we've been seeing plenty of homes come back to the market after they don't sell and some properties are doing lots of price reductions before they even get an offer.
