What's happening, Sheboygan County. It's time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus, your local realtor right here in Sheboygan Falls, and this is your 7-day housing update for Sheboygan County.
We saw a total of 43 new listings hit the market, 28 properties sold and 10 properties ended up lowering their prices. As we approach the end of the spring market, it continues to turn out more listings than we've seen all year. For the moment, it's much needed relief to add some flexibility back into our market.
If you're considering selling, the supply of new listings isn't putting any sort of downward trend on prices. It's the spring season and as we inch our way to higher months of inventory, last month's supply was only a bit over a month. Anything under six months is considered a seller's market.
If you're a buyer, the past few weeks should be bringing you a little bit of hope. It's still a very competitive market. The good news is the increase in new listings over the past month are giving more choice. I'd still be prepared to compete in those multiple offer situations right now and moving forward throughout the year.
