Sheboygan County Market Update - 9/11/24

Hey, Sheboygan County, it's time for your weekly real estate update. My name is Markus with Savaglio and Co and this is what's been happening over the past seven days.

36 new homes came to the market, 24 properties sold, two properties came back to the market after they failed to sell and 13 properties did price reductions. New listings are remaining pretty consistent compared to the past six weeks.

If you're buying in this market, it's still a slugfest out there, so be sure to put your best offer out the first time. If you really want a deal, I'd be paying attention to the properties that came back to the market after they failed the sale and the ones that did price reductions.

On the flip side, it's a really good time to be a seller. You're able to dictate the process and command a premium for your home at the same time, but it's important that you don't push too hard on price. I've been seeing plenty of homes do price reductions after the market doesn't see the value. And even sometimes when they do, a low appraisal can come in and force some buyers to back out of a deal when the seller's not willing to budge on the price.

This has been your weekly real estate update. I'm Markus at EXP Realty, and until next time, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
